     The Office Manager and Cultural Ambassador will support our growing company through a unique blend of operations, HR, special projects, and admin support to the CEO.

This position will have four primary job areas:

  • Administrative Assistance: Provide exceptional administrative assistance to the team by direction of the CEO.
  • Human Resources:  Be the go-to person on our team for HR related items, liaison with HR vendor.  
  • Office Management:  Ensure smooth operation of the day to day activities of the office, working with outside vendors or internal projects.
  • Culture Ambassador:  Take initiative to guard and promote our corporate culture by encouraging a trusting, respectful, and friendly atmosphere.  Learn about our culture.

Administrative Assistance:

  • General administration and calendar management for the CEO.
  • Coordination of team events and/or meetings.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Facilitate Daily & Weekly Meetings for team.
  • Special projects.

Human Resources:

  • On-boarding of new employees and employee resignation/terminations.
  • Personnel record management.
  • Schedule upcoming raises & HR changes (with CFO/CEO).
  • Liason with HR vendor:
    • Compliance with current legislation on employment requirements.
    • Benefits administration.
    • HR best practices and employee policy.

Office Management:

  • Act as the point of contact for third parties such as property manager, office suppliers, insurance brokers, bankers, accountant, etc…
  • Manage office budget while ensuring office supplies are stocked.
  • Ordering new / replacement office equipment such as computers, desks, chairs, etc...

Culture Ambassador:

  • Keeping a tab on the overall pulse of the office environment, and coordinating fun internal office activities (birthdays, Family Day, welcome lunches, etc).
  • Assist CEO’s Role in the company by organizing and communicating our corporate Values to help ensure execution.
  • Attention to remote employees.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical team members
  • 2-5 years of office administration and HR experience managing the day to day operations of a busy office.
