Front-End Website Developer and Technical Support 

As a Front-End Web Support team member, you will assist the Customer Experience team in providing excellent technical support for our growing client base and their web projects. You will have the opportunity to work directly with MonkDev’s clients in addressing their questions and providing guidance associated with the use of MonkDev’s CMS and systems. Your background ideally includes a passion to serve the church market with web technology and a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Required experience:

  • Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery
  • Intermediate Level Knowledge of PHP
  • Working knowledge of Apache/htaccess /  DNS & Domain Management
  • General media production knowledge (image resolution, audio/video encoding, podcasting, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Web design standards and best practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a great customer experience in assisting clients through quick and accurate support case resolution while managing the customer’s expectations.
  • Anticipate client needs and advocate for solutions that help them achieve and exceed their goals and objectives.
  • Solve a variety of technical problems as well as address best practices with customers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to approach a problem creatively using a variety of web technologies.
  • Ability to effectively describe a technical issue to a customer in an approachable manner.
  • Willingness to learn the ins and outs of our CMS product and become familiar with the most common technical problems clients may face.
  • Drive to champion new ideas and product improvements based on customer feedback collected.
  • Desire to keep current with evolving technologies and train customers with this knowledge.
