One sermon, many sites

08 Feb 2007

Ekklesia 360 now gives you the ability to upload sermons to your main church website and have your off site campus websites pull from the same list of sermons.  Audio, video, RSS feeds and documents all seem to be unique to your campus website but are indeed simply frontend to your main sermon database.

Say you belong to a church with a website called www.spiritchurch.com and there are three off site locations in different parts of the same city with websites called east.spiritchurch.com, west.spiritchurch.com and www.spiritedyouthgroup.com.  Each of your campus websites may have different styles and messages depending on the intended audience, but all share a common message thread preached by your senior pastor on Sundays.  All your Ekklesia admin needs to do is upload the sermon with notes, video or documents to www.spiritchurch.com and all your sub sites will be updated with the same sermon in the following way:

www.spiritchurch.com/sermon/how-to-read-the-bible

east.spiritchurch.com/sermon/how-to-read-the-bible

www.spiritedyouthgroup.com/sermon/how-to-read-the-bible

All these sites may have different navigations, graphics, about pages and more, but they all share the same sermon content.
