3.1 Release
Monk Development has released version 3.1 of Ekklesia 360. This is a major release with many new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Features
- Permissions. Our permissions system has undergone a massive overhaul. For more information: http://help.ekklesia360.com/article/members-edit-permissions/
- Private Content. Content published to a private group will now only be visible on your website to members of that group who are logged in.
- Site Group. We have introduced the concept of the “site group”. All content must be published to at least one group, and in most cases, this will now be the site group. The site group is your default public facing group. All members of your site are members of the site group as well. Any users who previously had permissions over a module now have those same permissions, specific to the site group.
- Group permissions. Users can now be given permissions to publish content only to specific groups.
- Login information. There is a new screen which can be used to set up users’ username and password, as well as their rules for editing content across the system.
- Dashboard. The dashboard has been greatly enhanced, offering new features and customization options:
- Recent Activity. Users can now display and customize info widgets showing recent activity for a variety of modules. For more information: http://help.ekklesia360.com/article/dashboard/#Recent-Activity
- Quicklinks. Users can now customize the quicklinks that appear in the sidebar of the dashboard. For more information: http://help.ekklesia360.com/article/dashboard/#Quicklinks
- Help System. A new help system has been implemented across the system. You can now find a “Help” link on every page of the system in the upper right corner. In some cases, our documentation may not be complete, in which case we have provided a link that allows you to request help documentation. This same help documentation can also be found at our help site, where you can also submit feedback or request more information for individual articles.
- Ecommerce Transaction Logs. Site admins can now view logs for every ecommerce transaction the system processes, including failed transactions, and error codes (if available). For more information: http://help.ekklesia360.com/article/transactions/
- Email Notifications for Page Changes. There is a new setting that allows site admins to receive an email notification whenever a new page is created or an existing page is edited. For more information: http://help.ekklesia360.com/article/site-settings-notifications/
